Antique Ford trucks are lesser known automobiles than their more popular antique Ford cars. While the first Antique Ford cars have found their mention in history due to the Ford Model T and the profits that Henry Ford made, antique Ford trucks were not so heralded by the industry. The media too hyped the various efforts that being made towards increasing production of the Model T cars. It mentioned the manner in which Ford Motors, a company that was under family management for over 100 years, managed to announce incentives for the workers ensuring that they hit the sales targets. The company was so successful that it even survived the great depression that hot post the world war. While the Antique Autos Ford claimed prominence, not much was said or written about the antique Ford trucks that were also in production during the same time. In fact, the first few antique Ford trucks appeared in the market around the same time that the first car came into existence. It is therefore news to a fair number of people, except the enthusiasts, of course, that Ford manufactured commercial vehicles that included Ford heavy trucks, Ford medium heavy trucks, Ford buses and also Ford tractors. The pick-up tracks were extremely popular and were the best design automobiles among the commercial vehicles. They had car like styling with large space that allowed carrying material. Ford trucks
While antique Ford trucks included pick-ups, heavy, medium and light vehicles, the ones that are among the more popular antique Ford pick-ups. This is mainly because the antique Ford trucks that are also pick-ups can find some practical usage value along with being a collector’s item. It is unlikely for someone who requires a larger vehicle to opt for any of the larger antique Ford trucks since these are not extremely practical.
Ford buses
Even lesser known than the antique Ford cars and the antique Ford trucks are the antique Ford buses. These vehicles that were produced way back in the early 1900′s were actually produced on the Ford chassis but were manufactured by another company. Therefore, these did not get as much attention by the public as the regular cars did. While no reviews are available, the Ford buses are unlikely to have similar configurations as the other Ford cars.
Ford tractors
The first Ford tractor was built by Henry Ford. This was an experiment and was done as far back as 1907. The amazing part of the story was that when he finally wanted to commercialize his tractor, he found that he could not use the Ford brand name since there was already a company by the name of ‘Ford Tractor Company’. Unlike antique Ford trucks, antique Ford tractors were manufactured and marketed by ‘Henry Ford and Son’.
